Kamaboko is a long-time specialty of Maizuru. The characteristic of Maizuru Kamaboko is that it uses more than 40% of fresh sea fish (such as silver white croaker, swordfish, flying fish), and uses a unique two-stage steaming method to produce a unique sturdiness.
